Landau Development tapped architect Kobi Karp, interior designer Linda Zarifi and landscape architect Enea to design the tower. It has a distinct fluid form inspired by the water, soft curves and a neutral color palette featuring organic materials. The building pays homage to Bay Harbor’s history of mid-century modern design, while the interiors offer dramatic volume and sculptural elements.
Layouts range from three to five bedrooms and span from 3,300 square feet to more than 5,600 square feet. Each is lined with windows, allowing unobstructed views over the water and around Bay Harbor. Residents can choose half-floor or full-floor layouts, each with a wraparound balcony, chef’s kitchen, wine feature walls and elegant, light-filled living spaces. The Diplomat Beach Resort is a charming, old-school 1950s property right on the beach in Hollywood, which is pretty much smack-dab in the middle of Miami and Ft. Lauderdale.
