Every November, Greater Miami & Miami Beach offers a calendar of incredible events for every age and interest. From classics like Santa’s Enchanted Forest, the Miami Book Fair and Art Basel Miami Beach to newer additions like Art With Me, Hay Maze and NightGarden, here are all the Miami events you don’t want to miss this month.

MIAMI ENTERTAINMENT MONTHS

Through November 30

All November long, Miami Entertainment Months offers special discounts, BOGO deals and ticket packages for concerts, theater, sporting events, museums, outdoor attractions, movie screenings and more.

HAY MAZE MIAMI

Through November 6

It may not look like fall in Miami, but it will sure feel like it at Hay Maze Miami. This immersive pop-up brings autumn’s cozy excitement to Bayfront Park with fall-themed treats, seasonal harvests, live music and events, photo opportunities, a beer garden, rum and whiskey tastings, a fall leaf pit, and an Instagram-ready maze spanning more than 6,000 square feet.

ANNUAL VETERANS DAY PARADE

November 6

Now in its 43rd year, the Annual Veterans Day Parade in Miami Lakes reigns as the longest-running parade of its kind in Miami-Dade County. Join the crowds waving their American flags along Ludlam Road and pay your respects to U.S. veterans and active-duty military.

SANTA’S ENCHANTED FOREST

November 9 - January 8

Is it really Christmas in Miami without Santa’s Enchanted Forest? This festive annual event is the largest Christmas carnival in the world, boasting a 92-foot Christmas tree, over three million Christmas lights, tasty treats, games, funhouses, holiday-themed rides and even its own Christmas jingle. The 2022 carnival is coming back with a new design, more rides and a bigger venue.

21ST ANNUAL MIAMI SHORT FILM FESTIVAL

November 11 - 13

Back for its 21st year, the Miami Short Film Festival (MIAMIsFF) will showcase three days of short films by independent filmmakers from across the globe. Opening with a “Rebels with a Cause”-themed red carpet event at the Deering Estate, this year’s festival will also include showings at the Miami Beach Bandshell and O Cinema South Beach.

NIGHTGARDEN

November 11 - January 8

With its colorful lights, talking trees, hidden fairies and immersive, 360-degree illusions, NightGarden transforms the 83-acre Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden into a whimsical wonderland. For a night of pure imagination, guests can cross the rainbow-colored Orchid Bridge, see dancing dandelions and go on a “Fairy Quest” to find the Fairy Queen’s lost subjects, which are hidden throughout the garden. Onsite food trucks will have food and drinks available for purchase.

5TH ANNUAL NEW TIMES TACOLANDIA

November 12

Get unlimited samples of tacos from Miami’s best restaurants and taco shops at the 5th Annual New Times Tacolandia. Taking place at Regatta Park, this Saturday afternoon event will have “Day of the Dead” face-painting, a game zone, a hot pepper eating contest, margaritas and, of course, tacos from Bodega Taqueria y Tequila, bartaco, La Cerveceria de Barrio, Oh! Mexico, Pilo’s Street Tacos and more.

THE MIAMI BOOK FAIR

November 13 - 20

The Miami Book Fair comes to Miami every November, delighting avid readers with a week of conversations, panel discussions and lectures by renowned authors, poets, journalists and critics. In addition to its popular Street Fair, there will be opportunities for author “meet and greets,” book signings, children’s events, reading translations and more.

HERITAGE FIRE

November 20

Heritage Fire, America’s favorite live-fire, open-air food and wine festival, is all about one thing: heritage-breed, whole-animal cooking. At The Biltmore Hotel, 20 of Miami’s best chefs will fire-grill more than 2,500 pounds of dry-aged beef, chicken, pork, fish, oysters, rabbit, squab, heirloom vegetables and more, which guests can wash down with local beers, wines and cocktails. For the first time, guests will get to cast their vote for “Best Bite of the Day,” the winner of which will be crowned “Heritage Hero.”

You’ll find plenty to be thankful for when you attend a Thanksgiving brunch or dinner at one of Miami’s top restaurants on Thanksgiving weekend.

2022 BAPTIST HEALTH TURKEY TROT MIAMI 5K/10K & KIDS RACE

November 24

Earn that Thanksgiving dinner when you wake up and run or walk the 2022 Baptist Health Turkey Trot Miami 5K/10K & Kids Race at Tropical Park. Participants will receive a finisher medal, a t-shirt, food and drinks after the race, access to a holiday-themed festival with games and face-painting, photo opportunities and more. Proceeds from this run will benefit the Florida Disaster relief fund to help families who lost their homes during Hurricane Ian.

URGE MIAMI THANKSGIVING WEEKEND

November 25 - 28

URGE Miami Thanksgiving Weekend, a fun-filled festival that has been named “one of the world’s biggest gay events,” is a four-day party. Featuring live performances by popular DJs from around the world, this South Beach fête includes Friday, Saturday and Sunday night parties, the legendary Sunday Beach Day Party and more.

ART WITH ME MIAMI

November 26 - 27

Perfect for the whole family, Art With Me Miami is an immersive art, music and wellness weekend at Historic Virginia Key Beach Park. Centered around six pillars – Art With Me, Dance With Me, Eat With Me, Breathe With Me, Play With Me and Care With Me – this event fills the park with large-scale art installations, galleries, live DJ and music performances, organic food, yoga and dance classes, breathing and mindfulness workshops, kids’ activities and more.

THANKSGIVING TEA DANCE

November 27

Join Jody McDonald at an old-fashioned LGBTQ+-friendly Thanksgiving Tea Dance at the Miami Beach Bandshell. There will be live music, dancing and food and drinks available for purchase, all just steps from the sand.

November 29 - December 4
