Miami's Luxury Market Soars: Billion-Dollar Deals Usher in Era of Supertall Condos and Ultra-Exclusive Living

Last week alone, over $1 billion in financing closed for two major developments, the Waldor Asotira in Downtown Miami, and 6 Fisher Island on Fisher Island.

The Waldorf Astoria

PMG secured a whopping $668 million construction loan from Bank OZK, the region's top construction lender, to build the Waldorf Astoria. This record-breaking condo project will be the tallest residential building south of New York City, soaring over 1,000 feet and earning Miami its first "supertall" status. The luxurious development boasts 387 condos (90% already pre-sold!), along with 205 hotel rooms and suites. Interestingly, my partner Jared Turquelle actually sold this very site to PMG back in 2014 for $80 million.

The Residences at 6 Fisher Island

The Related Group with Isaac Toledano secured a $400 million construction loan from Madison Realty Capital for The Residences at 6 Fisher Island. This ultra-exclusive development features only 50 condo units, each a sprawling masterpiece averaging over 4,800 square feet (bigger than most houses!) and priced north of $30 million. My partner Scott Wadler and his team at Bercadia were instrumental in securing this loan.

These billion-dollar deals, happening within the same week for just two condo projects, showcase Miami's incredible growth trajectory.

With units selling for over $4,000 per square foot, the future of Miami's luxury market is undeniably bright.
